AC/DC Box Set 2 (AC/DC 2 Brian Johnson)

One out of the box (pardon the pun) for all lovers of the great AC/DC featuring Brian Johnson. This is AC/DC Box Set 2 featuring Brian Johnson.

This set (and Box Set 1 with Bon Scott on another auction) belongs to my brother who has decided to sell them. If you thought you were a fanatic about keeping your vinyl properly – sorry, you can’t match my l’il bro. These are in absolutely fantastic condition. The only reason you can’t call them mint is the fact that they have actually been played, but not very often. I’ll go through each piece for you. Check the scans to see them. The set has the red Albert label.

Box - the box is still complete with the hinge made of a heavy duty tape. It has been kept in a plastic bag for protection. The only flaw about the box is that because it is gloss black there are some slight smudges where it has been handled. You simply can’t avoid those. I would put the box as above Mint-.

Poster - this is easy - the poster is unused.

Sticker - the sticker is also unused.

Covers - the covers have been put in individual plastic sleeves for further protection. Covers are Mint- although there are some slight handling smudges on the covers for "For Those About To Rock..." and "Flick Of The Switch".

Inner sleeves – even the inner sleeves are close to mint although the sleeves for "Back In Black" and "Flick Of The Switch" have some slight handling smudges. Apart from that, hardly even a crease. How often have you come across a record that looked good and when you get it out the inner sleeve is crushed or torn or whatever? Every time these records were handled it was with loving care and it is reflected in the condition of every piece of this set.

Vinyl - the vinyls are the red Albert label. The records are all at least Mint-. I will not call them Mint because they have been played but that is the only reason.

Back In Black APLP 046 Albert red label. Matrix numbers APLP 046 A and B. On side B the matrix also has “MAXICUT”.

For Those About To Rock APLP 053 Albert red label Gatefold..Matrix numbers APLP 053 A2 and B2 (handwritten style) There is also AP(combined letters) ‘301 on both sides.

Flick Of The Switch APLP 061 Albert red label.Matrix numbers APLP 061 A and B. Also on the matrix on both sides is AP (combined letters) ‘301.

Fly On The Wall APLP 431066 Albert red label.Matrix numbers (handwritten style) STA 855695 A and STA 855696 (for the last digit the number 5 is crossed out and 6 is written in. There is also the following – on side 1 – what looks like l SMl 5 masterdisk PL on side 2 - what looks like l SMl 4 Masterdisk PL SPAUS.

Who Made Who APLP 431068 Albert red label. Matrix numbers (handwritten type) APLP431068 A 6 7 (last digit could be P) and APLP 431068 B 7 (last digit could be P). Also on matrix is “Mastered on copper”, typewritten side 1 and handwritten side 2.

Total weight (unpackaged) of the set is 1.45 kilograms so I’d guess it would be between 1.5 and 2.0 kilograms packaged for postage if you want to calculate the postage costs. Email me if you want me to check the postage. I’ll cost it at 2.0 kilograms (same cost between 1.5 and 2.0 kilograms). NO HANDLING CHARGES but if you want special packaging that costs more you will need to pay for that. Don’t worry, it will be well packaged and protected.
