AC/DC Box Set 1 Bon Scott Bonus 12” single (AC/DC1 Bon Scott)

One out of the box (pardon the pun) for all lovers of the great AC/DC and the magnificent Bon Scott. This is AC/DC Box Set 1 featuring Bon Scott. It includes the bonus 12” single Cold Hearted Man.

This set (and Box Set 2 with Brian Johnson on another auction) belongs to my brother who has decided to sell them. If you thought you were a fanatic about keeping your vinyl properly – sorry, you can’t match my l’il bro. These are in absolutely fantastic condition. The only reason you can’t call them mint is the fact that they have actually been played, but not very often. I’ll go through each piece for you. Check the scans to see them. The set has a mix of the red and black Albert labels and the only downer is that it wasn’t issued with the iron on transfer that was with another version of the set.

Box - the box is still complete with the hinge made of a heavy duty tape. It has been kept in a plastic bag for protection. The only flaws about the box are very, very slight knocks on the corners where the white cardboard shows through the surface colouring. They are miniscule and are really MUCH less than what you would expect of something like this. I would put the box as Mint-.

Covers - the covers have been put in individual plastic sleeves for further protection. If any cover is less than Mint- I’ll eat them.

Inner sleeves – even the inner sleeves are close to mint. Hardly even a crease. How often have you come across a record that looked good and when you get it out the inner sleeve is crushed or torn or whatever? Every time these records were handled it was with loving care and it is reflected in the condition of every piece of this set.

Vinyl - the vinyls are a mixture of the red and black Albert labels. The records are all at least Mint-. I will not call them Mint because they have been played but that is the only reason.

T.N.T. Gatefold cover APLPA 016 Albert Black Label.Matrix numbers APLPA 016 A2 and B2 (the B2 matrix number is the handwritten type). On the matrix of side 2 there is also a small mark as though something else was going to be written but was crossed out. It was definitely not done afterwards but as part of the process.

Total weight (unpackaged) of the set is 1.8 kilograms so I’d guess it would be between 2.0 and 2.5 kilograms packaged for postage if you want to calculate the postage costs. Email me if you want me to check the postage or have any other questions. I’ll cost it at 2.5 kilograms (same cost between 2.0 and 2.5 kilograms). NO HANDLING CHARGES but if you want special packaging that costs more you will need to pay for that. Don’t worry, it will be well packaged and protected.
