Description
Mega rare, highly collectible & sought after Official Abba Amnesty International picture discs released early 1990's. There are 7 in total as you can see from the main picture & to show how beautiful & rare these singles are, I have also taken pictures of the b-sides of each disc. These mega rare items were strictly released world-wide & limited to 10 copies per disc. Country of release UK. As you can see from the main photo, these gorgeous abba pictures were taking during the years of 1974 Waterloo period, Mamma Mia 1975, The Album 1978 right through to their World Tour 1979.
B-sides are from Copenhagen Tour 1975, I Do I Do Frida/Benny on vintage car 1974, Name Of The Game & The Movie Shoot 1978, Agnetha/Frida from The Album photo shoot 1978, Benny Is.... Info.. originally & offically printed in the 1978 Abba Annual & Bjorn & Frida on stage during their 1979 World Tour. Last picture is words only from interviews over the ABBA years detailing how the band like to spend their spare time away from the spotlight.
They have never been played as I have personally owned them since new & are therefore in immaculate, mint, pristine never played condition! They are highly collectible & sought after from abba fanatics/collectors world-wide. ABBA are the Official sponsors of Amnesty International and to gain clarification of this, please google www.abbaworld.com/auction where you can see the Amnesty International logo at the bottom left-hand side of the screen. ABBA lent their images on these picture discs to promote this cause. There is no abba music on these discs but there is talk of Amnesty International from their 1987 conference & proceeds from all auctions at the above site & also when I originally purchased these discs all go towards this worthy cause & officially fully authorized by the 4 Abba members themselves. Serial number on each disc is BSAPC-7-1.

Released in the early 1990's before the ABBA revival of 1994 when 'Gold' refreshed the memories of every pop fan globally as to how good these Swedish Superstars are & still are to this day!! As every ABBA fan knows the group do not & do not need to promote their sound by allowing their music to be used for televised commercials/endorsements & any endorsements are fully authorised by the group themselves. Remember when Madonna wanted to use the tune of 'Gimme Gimme Gimme' for her no. 1 hit 'Hung-up'? This pop icon had to write a 10-page begging letter to Benny & Bjorn pleading for them to allow her to use this tune!!
These mega rare priceless gems have never been played but carefully stored for many years within their individual plastic wallets & are highly sought after from abba collectors around the world.
