In July 1931 the Washboard Rhythm Kings (as Chicago Hot Five) recorded the first version of "Star Dust" with a vocal. . "You Can't Me From Loving You" is take 2, on which Jake Fenderson handles the vocal. Eddie Miles is the vocalist on take 1. Beautiful copy from the Ken Swerilas collection.
