CLASSIC ROCK COLLECTION  X 7 LP's - Badfinger / Mott the Hoople / Heads Hands & Feet / Traffic / Sassafras / Moody Blues / Be Bop Deluxe.

1. BADFINGER - Same (self-titled)  - 1973 Warner Brothers K 56023 - UK original LP on 'burbank' label plus Insert, 1st pressing - A2 / B2 matrix (machine stamped)  -  EX+/EX- (INSERT-VG- Cover is fully intact and near perfect and displays just very slight wear - Insert would be EX but it has been used and affixed to a wall, with 'pinholes' and slight marks in each corner (see close up pic) - Vinyl itself displays just a few more noticeable hairlines and minor surface marks but overall still plays EX throughout with just some occasional minor distortion) 

2. MOTT THE HOOPLE - Brain capers - 1971 Island ILPS 9178 - UK original LP on 'pink rim/palm tree' label plus inner sleeve, 1st pressing - A-1U / B-1U matrix (machine stamped) plus 'PORKY/PECKO' (handwritten) - G/VG+ (INNER-VG-,  Cover is fully intact with normal wear but there is some surface tear marks top edge and back cover (see close up pic) - Inner has one small seam split and is worn with light tear one corner (see close up pic) - Vinyl itself displays some more noticeable mainly light surface marks and hairlines plus some light pressing marks but overall still plays near EX with some slight background crackle and odd light click) 

3. HEADS HANDS & FEET - Same (self titled) - 1971 Island ILPS 9149 - UK original LP on 'pink rim/palm tree' label in textured gatefold sleeve, 1st pressing - A-3U / B-3U matrix (machine stamped) - VG-/EX-  (Cover is virtually EX apart from some 'biro ticks' by the track listing on inner front (see close up pic) - Vinyl itself is near EX with just a few minor marks and some light pressing marks - these cause some occasional slight background noise side one, apart from that plays near EX) 

4. TRAFFIC - Shoot out at the fantasy factory - 1973 Island ILPS 9224 - UK original LP in laminated die-cut sleeve on 'pink rim/plam tree' label plus die-cut company inner - VG+/VG (INNER-EX-,  Cover is fully intact and displays some laminate creases front and some surface marks back - Inner is fully intact and displays some light creases and age discolouration - Vinyl itself displays some more noticeable mainly light marks and hairlines plus a small 'pressing bubble' on 'Roll right stones', which causes 3-4 clicks - apart from that plays VG to EX throughout) 

5. SASSAFRAS - Riding high - 1976 Chrysalis CHR 1100 - UK original LP on 'green' label with 'red text' rim  - VG+/EX- (Cover is fully intact and would be near perfect apart from some 'ripplin' on bottom half where it has probably been exposed to damp - Vinyl itself displays faint pressing marks across the surfaces but plays EX throughout) 

Additional Notes - All items graded using the universal RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM and  PLAY TESTED. Additional gradings used, like VG+,  EX-,  EX+ etc. which I'm sure most people are familiar with. Basically in addition to the usual R.C. gradings, the following apply -

M- The record visually is virtually perfect except for the very faintest of hairline surface marks. Playing, the record is virtually perfect except for the faintest of audible noise in run-ons or between tracks. The sleeve and/or inner sleeve is virtually perfect except for very minor creases from handling.

EX+ The record visually is near perfect except for a few faint hairline surface marks. Playing, the record is almost perfect except for some very minor audible noise in the run-ons or between tracks. The sleeve and/or inner sleeve is almost perfect except for a few very minor creases/wear.

EX- The record visually is almost excellent but displays rather more noticeable hairline and very light surface marks but no scratches. Playing, the record is almost excellent but displays slightly more noticeable noise in run-ons or between tracks (crackle) plus additionally the odd minor 'pop/click'. The sleeve and/or inner sleeve displays rather more noticeable creases/wear or slight discolouration with age but no seam splits.

VG+ The record visually displays noticeable light surface and hairline marks but only the occasional minor scratch. Playing, the record displays light crackle in the run-ons and occasionally between tracks and slight background noise, occasional 'pops/clicks'. The sleeve and/or inner sleeve displays light-normal wear around edges, spine etc. with minor marks but no tears or major defects.
