Description
Rare 3 lp set of .38 Special recorded live for the RKO “Captured Live” series. These are the actual albums sent to the radio stations for air play. The program originally aired the week of May 23, 1983, show number CL 583. This set also includes the cue sheet from the broadcast, and the three LPs are still housed in the original cardboard mailer the production company sent to the station.
The play list is as follows: Take Em’ Out/Back On The Track/Rough Housin’/Stone Cold Believer/You Keep Runnin’ Away/Wild Eyed Southern Boys/Chain Lightnin’/Backdoor Stranger/So Caught Up In You/Turn It On/Round And Round/Hold On Loosely/I’ve Been A Mover/Rockin’ Into The Night/Fortunate Son
The grading is as follows: The original card board mailer is vg. There is some handling wear including a few creases and the original packing tape is ripped off a bit. The three albums are in NM condition, glossy, no scuffs or scratches of any kind. They appear to have been barely handled, and possibly never played, or played just a couple of times. There is still a bit of the plastic you find in the spindle hole of a new album. The labels are very clean and have no visible spindle marks. The cue sheet is vg+. All around this set is in wonderful condition and will easily satisfy any expectation. This is a very nice and RARE addition to any collection.
