Description

Here are 2 78rpm Vogue Picture Records produced in the 1940s.  My understanding is that these records were made only in New York and Detroit and were only produced for a year or two.  These are quite sought after records, valued more for their decorative value than the actual playing of the records themselves.  The two for sale here are No. 772 - "The Sniffle Song" and "All By Myself" by Frankie Masters and His Orchestra.  The second record is No. 725 - "Rhapsody in Blue (Part 1)" and "Alice Blue Gown" by The Hour of Charm All Girl Orchestra.  The first photo shows one side of each record and the second photo shows the other side of each record.  Note that I have no way to play these records, and expect that there are scratches, especially since they are nearly 70 years old!  These records are NOT perfect by any means (please look at photos carefully) and are being sold for their decorative value so please don't expect them to play like newer records.  In fact, they probably shouldn't be played at all, but used for display and/or framing purposes.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions before you purchase.  Thanks for looking!
