Description

Here's a lot of 5 original old R.E.M. 33rpm LPs. There are four single LPs here and 1 double LP. Three of these are surely rare, and two not so rare. The first one says "Down South - recorded live 1981-1982"- we know this is REM, but there is nothing on the LP that says REM. Next is a cool LP called"REM Smokin' in the Boy's Room" that has a paper label on the front of the sleeve that says "REM" - on the vinyl label it says "The Pilgrammage" instead of REM but this is clearly very early REM. The third LP is a double LP called "Georgia Peaches - Ripe!" - recorded live at "Tyrone's" Athens, Georgia, Jan 10th, 1981 - the vinyl label just says "Cycler Records" with no reference to REM. Fourth up we have "REM - Finest Worksong" a 12" single. Last but not least, a standard issue LP of 1988s "R.E.M. GREEN" that has been opened and played, but the sleeve is still in its original shrink wrap. These all play well, but there is an occasional skip here or there, but nothing drastic. I am the original owner of all of these. They were all bought new in the '80s at the old Main Street Records in Northampton, Massachusetts. ALL of the records have always been well taken care of and will all play with no issues.
