Rare UK 1st press LP and Sleeve on the highly collectable Parlophone label from the most highly collectable of artists.
Sleeve
The original gatefold sleeve has survived very well. It has the opening in the centre for the record to be put into as opposed to the side. This particular sleeve is a flimsy one by design so all things considered this is in decent order. There is a little laminate creasing to the front and rear but thats all. The spine is a little mishaped but complete and the words unbroken and clear and carefully can be reshaped easily enough. The inner gatefold is also clean and nice to see is free from writing and stickers. Not a perfect example but a decent one and considering the design and original weight of the sleeve i would still rate this as EX-
Vinyl
The original Parlophone heavy weight pressing is in decent shape. There are light hairlines and some smaller marks on the record but nothing sinister at all. There is still a nice shine and gloss to the vinyl. EX-
Labels
The yellow and black Parlophone labels are notorious for spindles being black! This one has some marks in the centre. They also have the KT tax code in the centre as well as the Sold in the UK subject to resale text. Labels are VG+
Overall a nice collectable and original example of a rarer stereo pressing. Not perfect by any means but a decent collectable example.
