MUSIC STYLE - COMMENTS - Back To Back ~ Two for the price of One *1Away Rarest 'BOSS' Upbeat 1968 Skinhead Reggae* Both sides are Massive Tunes on the Current UK Original Skinhead Dancehall Scene This is the Epitome of Early Skinhead Reggae ~ Look No Further Only UK Release on this Rare Birmingham based late 60's 'JUNIOR' Label. Big Shot ~ BI 507B is credited to Rock Rock & Cry By The Raving Ravers, but plays Lester Sterlings 'It Might As Well be Spring', the same tune that was released on the flip of the previous Big Shot single BI 506B Lead Singer of the Raving Ravers is one Winston Francis ~ This is a different and Earlier Cut to his 'Reggae & Cry' he did for Coxsone, But this was recorded at Studio 1(Ja Release on Muzik City Blank), and Produced by G Hargreaves (TSI). Flip side is the Vocal cut the 1Away, Very Rare, Storming Upbeat DJ / Instrumental on the UK 'Melody' Label, 'REGGAY' by The Rudies. Ranny Williams Produced this side (TSI). Ranny used the 'HIPPY BOYS' extensively for his late 60's output, so it very likely they are also the band used here.
