ONLY 500 COPIES PRESSED!
Very First record by Green on Red, recorded and released in 1981. PRIVATE PRESSING on Green on Red Records R-714. Self-Produced and Self-Titled, also known as "Two Bibles".
Green Label on RED VINYL, the record is near mint. Label on Side A lists all tracks, label on Side B consists of a monogrammed logo. Cover is excellent, no seam splits, a few creases.
The music, influenced by 1960s psych is dark with lots of psychedelic guitar, swirling organ, edgy vocals. These tracks are unique to this record and not on their later commercial releases. Titles are "Two Bibles", "La Vida Muerta", "New World", "Not Today", "A Tragedy", all written by Green on Red.
It is no exaggeration to call this record extremely rare. With its very limited pressing of a mere 500 copies, and the passage of 25 years, the natural conclusion is that locating a copy would be quite a difficult challenge!
