We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 18,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. Mega-sought after first TMOQ printing from around early 1973 released as a whopping 2 LP set in grainy thick pastel cover with the infamous Trade Mark Of Quality printed labels. ...the 1972 Rolling Stones in Lost Angeles featuring *live* exclusive versions, different to the studio tracks we all dig::::
Releases of this STONED gem came in a pale blue textured grainy cover with either a stamped title or a custom designed group photo insert taped or glued to the cover. This copy has the insert cellophane taped to the side edges
“Trademark Of Quality” records were like the lost ark of the covenant to many of us way back in the early '70s. That little underground comix-style pig logo meant that this was a “real” underground collectible, which was about as close to crime as most folks were ever going to get.
This was the Stones infamous STP (Stones Touring Party) tour, which was written about and reported almost daily in newspapers and magazines.
The tour saw riots, counterfeit tickets, bombings by FLQ terrorists (Montreal), equipment thefts, Jagger and Richards being arrested and general bad behaviour and debauchery.
The press ate it up, and reported it almost daily.
By this point in the tour, the Stones shows were very rehearsed and routine.
The set list did not vary, except for the very odd encore of Honky Tonk Women now and again (mostly during the early part of the tour....) or the encore with support artist Stevie Wonder at the end of the show. (Stevie Wonder was the opening act)
To be sure, the Stones did try out a couple of other numbers from Exile On Main St. during the very first shows i.e. Ventilator Blues, Loving Cup and Sweet Black Angel.
These didn't seem to work, and were eliminated from the set-list early in the tour.
This particular LP 2-LP set was recorded in mono by the old Tmoq (Trade Mark Of Quality) folks, the same ones who recorded the famous Live'r Than You'll Ever Be show, and Led Zeppelin's: Live on BlueBerry Hill show.
This is an audience recording, and pretty easy to listen to with some crowd noise, but overall an acceptable excellent mono audience recording.
This circa '73 double LP set had an encore of Honky Tonk Women from this show, that the CD release many years later, cut off (!)
The Stones performance is superb, the band now in a routine show set-list that they pull off like a well-rehearsed play.
Recent information is that some of the LA Forum shows were included in the film "Cocksucker Blues", of note the opening number Brown Sugar is in the film, and is from one of these shows.
Both shows were professionally recorded by the Stones also, but remain unreleased.
Most Stones critics and fans generally agree that the band performance on this tour can be broken down into three distinct elements.
The first shows, from the opening in Vancouver to about the LA Forum shows (all of the west coast shows....) generally show an under rehearsed band gradually pulling the act together by the time of the LA Forum performance, fine tuning the set-list, working out all the sound system glitches.
The second leg from this LA Forum show to about the mid-July Montreal performance reveal the band at it's best...running like a well-oiled machine with the shows coming off like a commando raid.
The last part of the tour from early July (Montreal) to the final shows at Madison Square Garden show the band exhausted and having an attitude of: "Let's Just Get This Over With..." for the final shows.
This LA Forum show is very nice, too bad the Stones recordings were left unreleased, but TMOQ etched their version in wax, for all Stones fans to enjoy!

CONDITION: The cover: Rated: near M- Thick pale blue textured cover with custom art cover. Very clean, well preserved for the past 46 years. These pastel covers TMOQ used are full of dirt and soil this many years later, but here's a survivor, very clean, very collectible! The seams are solid, no seam splits, no faded colors, no bends, no writing ...
The vinyl: Rated: "EX" (excellent) to M- very clean, both sides are full of bright shine, and plays very enjoyable, and/or, as well as it did when issued in 1973. All four TRADE MARK OF QUALITY labels are extremely clean, no writing, dirt or spoil.
A cool addition to anyone's music library!
