Description

PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question.   OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. Because of that dedication, there should be no need to open a resolution dispute before working with us.  Please keep in mind, we would prefer to continue to provide you the opportunity to acquire the rare music we present each and every week.   Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable.  We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over +22,000 positive feedback.   We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so.

    ..............................................................................
PYRANHA remains a highly little seen 1971 LP rarity recorded near the France/Switzerland border and recognized as a Swiss hard psych-prog band
...the ONLY LP issued by PYRANHA, a formidable turned-on unit comprising a build up of long heated extended jamming,,, awe-inspiring "right" sound ... collection worthy recommendation :
Not many non-German groups like these cats could perform like an early 1970-era Krautrock genuine article, yet the Swiss band PYRANHA, was in essence of them.
The sextet from the city of Yverdon near the French-Swiss border, consisted of Henry Skippy on electrified free-blowing winds, Wy Wyss on wailing guitar, Armand Bucher on gushing organ, Jacques Riccio on pounding drums, Beb Anhas on big-boom bass and Christian Scheder on often strained vocals.
Their only (private, self-titled produced) album appeared briefly in 1972 delivering a intensified brew to be experienced.
........................................
One of the weirdest releases of German-influenced underground rock albums, finds ''
PYRANHA,''opening with the 13 minute jammer titled ''Clepsydre'', a dedicated example of 1970 era hard involved psychedelic rock thrusting a narcotic rhythm section providing steady pulsating beats over a developing sound of expressive organ/guitar theatrics, featuring some jazzy weaving as well.
''Time 13'' is a stretched out achievement in mix of hypnotic, psychedelic and Ethnic influences akin to the better releases found on the Futura now expensive label. Developed with interesting loud-guitar work but also endless improvisations on percussion, sound-effects and minimalist chords.
The two short following tracks feature eventually the presence of Christian Scheder on vocals and you might be easily reminded by early ASH RA TEMPEL and AMON DUUL II recruiting CHRISTIAN DECAMPS of ANGE on vocals.
Intense psychedelic essence captives the non-evasive winds and organ being in evidence, the whole affair encased with a sinister atmosphere and very powerful; clearly a theatrical edge twisting between crying narrations and haunting chants. The bands sound-plus occurring with the long outro ''Mouette'', which seems actually more like a vocal experiment than a compact piece of music with mostly trippy keys, vibraphone and a bass in the background, even vocalist Scheder appears to take space for some poetry which ends up being to ones enjoyment - or not

There are plenty of highlights providing the LP being a great and seldom experienced/heard collection worthy addition filled with the underground rock Kraut side of psychedelic/prog creativity.
