We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable.  We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 18,000 positive feedback.   We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied.     Heavy Garage/Psych guitar/organ rocker FREEPORT from Cleveland, Ohio. Formally known as Paper Sun and 
  • Freeport Express.

  • "Paper Sun" was formed in early '68 or so, befitting the Traffic-inspired moniker, played a 'progressive' style of late '60s rock sounds, and were popular at teen dances, such as the Hullabaloo clubs, around the area. A year later, the personnel changed and two guitarists were added -- Dennis Stredney and Roger Lewis. With this lineup, that included Kevin Raleigh (keyboards and vocals), Craig Holt (bass), and Bill Stallings (drums)sthey changed their name to Freeport.

  • Freeport was a huge band in the NE Ohio area in 1970 -- playing constantly in Cleveland and the Youngstown areas. They recorded this LP in Miami for Mainstream records, going from dreamy psychedelic to more guitar/organ driven bombers, and also a few tunes more West Coast oriented tracks ...including strong originals led by the melodic but heavy 'I Need Your Lovin'.

The cover: rated: solid all over, near M- (considered a TOP COPY) as almost EVERY copy has wear to the black group back cover - here a beauty - completely near preserved!)  Overall should well fit in most ANY collection (see photo!) ...has NO split seams, no bends, no writing and 4 sharp corners...no delete marks either...very impressive artifact, good luck (ever) finding a better copy - over 50 years of age!
