We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 18,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Scarce 1968 original vinyl pressing... As it went with mid '60s garage bands, by 1968 our Five Americans got hold of a fuzz-tone to accompany their guitarist and the bands sound grew harder and tougher...
The hits kept on coming from heroic Dallas fivesome the Five Americans with their third longplayer, 1968’s Progressions. Both "Zip Code" and "Evol–Not Love" careened up the charts as the Five Americans squared off on live stages throughout the Deep South with the Doors and Jefferson Airplane— and more than held their own against the best American rock ’n’ roll had to offer.
The Five Americans' third album, Progressions, lives up to its title. The group, which had gained success with the pounding garage rocker "I Saw the Light" and the infectious shakin' hit "Westren Union," began to show some real artistic growth as they stretched out and explored new sounds. Some of the tracks sound like more assured versions of their earlier efforts — the catchy "Zip Code" (the attempted follow-up to "Westren Union"), the Byrds-like folk-rock of "(But Not) Today," the sparkling poprock of "Stop-Light" — but mostly they incorporate some harder guitar rock, like on "Black Is White — Day Is Night," as well, the Kinks-y baroque pop psych on "Rain Maker," and blue-eyed garage-soul on "Come on Up." They ditched the too slick sound some groups get saddled with while taking over the production chores themselves -- and did a fine job of creating a full and rich sound with just enough experimentation to keep things unpredictable. Progressions is a substantial leap of quality for the group; with the right push, it could have been big. Instead it is a hidden gem that fans of fine '60s garage fans should seek out and groove to.

The cover: Rated: Stunning M- TOPS! All around solid, has a tiny "D.J. (promo sticker on front, and company black promo stamp on back cover...it's a rare advanced release 1968 earliest pressing!) ... Looks fantastic, this Lp has gotten hard to find and chances are will not be a hard feat to try and locate a better copy. OVERALL front & back with great original colors, no split seams, no writing...this is a NICE 53 year old artifact...
- The vinyl: Rated: all glossy over both sides, M- beautiful...TOP COPY and plays super-clean... both Abnak (PROMO) labels are CLEAN.
