Description

This is an original Stereo Epic Records release from 1968 for Dino Valente's solo album released several years before he joined Quicksilver. I bought this record sealed and have played it one or two times over the years to record. What makes this interesting is this album was sealed in 1968 with a plastic bag instead of shrink wrap. This reason for this is the plastic bag contains the words "Dino Valente"(see scan). This was done to enlighten we stoned hippies as to who this album was by in case we did not take time to read the liner notes on the back. In the late 1960's Dino Valente was mentioned in various magazines such as Rolling Stone or Teen Set/Hullabaloo as this "wandering gypsy or hippie". I carefully took the plastic bag off the cover for fear it would cause ring wear as the bag was showing those kinds of markings. The LP cover is near mint...strong seams but a little browning on the bottom edges like it had been displayed in a window and got a little sunlight browning it. The record is mint.
