We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 18,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. So hard to find this classic garage album minty clean ...especially the back cover which, for some reason, always has a browning discoloration tone - here a CLEAN back cover too.
As hard as the MONO original is to find, the true-stereo copy is that much more seldom seen.
This is a 1965 classic Garage rocker -- the first, and by far, hardest to find of two albums released by the cool teen scene stars known as the Bobby Fuller Four...

The Bobby Fuller Four were garage rockers with a desirable raw melodic sound yet had enough polish to cover some of the songs of the day and make them interesting. KRLA KING OF THE WHEELS has always been a difficult album to find. Released just before their national breakout hit "I Fought The Law" ...Bobby Fullers death at a young age makes this a rare glimpse into a group that showed promise.
Producer Bob Keane and disc jockeys from (hip 60's) KRLA radio station in Los Angeles helped conceive the idea for this album. The KRLA Top Eliminator was a customized dragster made to help promote KRLA, and the Bobby Fuller Four provide this eleven song album. The title track is a (stronger than the original) reworking of "King Of The Beach," and an earlier record from the band's days in El Paso, Texas. There are three other car songs, including a killer version of Buddy Holly's "Love's Made A Fool Of You." and much of the album is rendered in Fuller's trademark Tex-Mex Garage Meets the British Invasion styles of the mid sixties.

CONDITION: The cover: Rated: front cover is VG++ the black background is extremely hard to find without wear after 54 years. This copy is very stiff and solid with no more than traces of previous handling wear, nothing much, just not mint, but certainly by far collection worthy without need to try and find a mint up-grade. The back cover for some reason, always has a browning discoloration tone on surviving copies. This copy instead of the usual heavy brown toning has brown-tone spotting (see photo #2) otherwise is clean! Strong original colors (front), there are no split seams, no bends, no writing & no delete marks
The vinyl: Rated: near M- both sides are full of bright shine, playing enjoyably clean. Both MUSTANG labels are also clean, no writing, dirt or soil
