This is an UNMARKED (no promo markings) white label 45rpm 7inch "New Generation / Peppermint Man" by The Trashmen, released on Garrett Records in 1964.

As can be seen clearly in the photos, this 45 has a promo-style white label, but without the usual "audition copy" or "not for sale" text. To my knowledge this particular version is totally undocumented. Other than the white label, this version has the same text as the regular red label release. It could be a release misprint, or undocumented promo, or even a limited test pressing, but either way this specific version doesn't exist in any Trashmen discography or Garrett Records catalog...which means it's pretty darn rare.

As shown in the photos, the vinyl is VG+ with only a few barely noticeable light scuffs present. There are no scratches or defects that noticeably affect sound quality beyond the typical minor pops and surface noise expected from a VG+ condition record. Since sound grading is highly subjective, I've provided an audio sample:

Please note that I never rate anything higher than VG+ because people tend to have wildly different expectations of EX, NM- and NM vinyl. The only exceptions to this rule are factory sealed items. Vinyl grading tends to be highly subjective (at best!), so please inspect any provided photos and sound samples before purchasing. All audio samples are recorded using a low-end $100 USB record player and compressed before uploading to YouTube -- audio quality will likely be better when played directly from a high-end turntable ;) Also, If sleeve condition is not mentioned in the listing, then assume that the record will be shipped with a generic paper sleeve.
