Description
On offer here is a first pressing of THE BEATLES debut UK LP titled “PLEASE PLEASE ME” released on PARLOPHONE RECORDS (Black/Gold labels) No. PMC 1202 ‘Mono’. Matrix Nos. are. XEX 421-1N & XEX 422-1N
Denoting it as a first pressing are the seven tracks credited to Dick James Mus. Co.
It comes in a E.J.Day flipback sleeve.
Condition wise I would grade the vinyl as EX- , some marks and the occasional light click, but otherwise plays EXCELLENT with a lovely crisp sound.
Vinyl also displays an excellent sheen, and the black/gold labels are like new, no wear or even spindle marks.
Flipback cover I’m grading as VG+, fully intact no rips, tears or writing, just a little flipback lift (not missing) & light scuffs to corners. There is a small orange stain on back which also displays very light handling marks.
Spine reads like new, and front of cover retains a fantastic shine with only minimal amount of small creases.
I try to be honest with my descriptions so as not to mislead, this is a real nice collector item.
