Description

Selling off a lifetime collection of records.  Conservative grading.  I provide professional packaging and shipping discounts on multiple purchases shipped together, add just $1 per record.  I ship every two or three days and these ship via media mail, so please give it a bit of time to arrive.  Thanks.

PLEASE READ below for shipping details and discounts.  Note that none of these records are mint.  They look better in the photos than in hand.  78's are prone to surface marks and all of these have some marks.  Please adhere to my condition notes as to grading. 

Description/notes:  One of the first rock records!  This is the birth of rock & roll by the energy master.  Original first Specialty pressing.  Side two has "I'm Just A Lonely Guy".  Issued just before the adoption of the 45-rpm single that would soon dominate the market and drive out the production of these 78-rpm versions.  RARE 

Condition: Very nice VG (most would call VG+) with a few surface marks but no scratches affecting play.  Not mint, but nicely playable.  Strong label.  Hand scrawled matrix "XSP 561".  

PLEASE READ:  Selling a special group of Early Rock and Jazz/Blues 78rpm records.  Part of an original collection of thousands of 78 records which was pared-down to these few gems - all highly influential at the dawn of rock and roll music in America.  The other 99.5% of the 78's in this collection went straight into the landfill as they are not worth the hassle and dangers of shipping.  These shellac records are fragile and require very special packaging for shipment, so please excuse the high cost of shipping.  Each record goes in a sleeve, then in a record case, then in a box.  If you buy more than 1 of these 78s, I'll add a $1 per record and refund any difference paid.
