By the way, I put in handling time of 1 day because ebay is all but forcing us too. Here is the deal, I live in the Real World. Life does not always allow things to be perfect, if is was I sure would not list on ebay. I will ship this item as quickly as humanly possible, usually within 1 day, weekends pose a problem however, my post office is not open so that can add 2 days, also working 12 to 16 hours a day can interfere with getting items out the next day. Whomever at ebay came up with this 1 day shipping requirement is out of their mind. They never cease to amaze me, they are their own worst enemy. I also do not agree with their 14 day return policy, if I have to ship it out in 1 day, shouldn't the buyer have to ship it back within 1 day of receiving the item? Call me Crazy but I really don't want my item setting around someones house for 14 days getting dirty, damaged or just tying up my money. It is just not fair to the seller. My feelings are, if time limits are necessary, 3 days are good for both shipping and returning. Last on my list is Feedback, it used to mean something, now it is just a biased number that really means nothing. A buyer can leave negative feedback with nothing to substantiate their reason, shouldn't the seller be able to leave negative feedback right back at the person? I have been selling on ebay for a Long Time, feedback used to mean something, it kept the buyers in line as well as the seller when both could leave - or +. I have 1 negative feedback, it came from someone that has never sold only bought, I suspect that they made a mistake on who they were leaving it for, something about "shockingly offensive statements on invoice", I have no idea what they were talking about, because they were not careful on what they were leaving me shouldn't I be able to leave them negative feedback? After all they were hurting my reputation. Anyone that agrees with me should contact ebay with their concerns, it is time they wake up. For the record, I have been Self Employed for 30 years and strive on repeat business from my customers, rest assured, I do my best to maintain that everyday.
