Description
"Rudy Vallee And Company" radio transcription discs recorded by Edwin Strong Incorporated, Jackson Heights, New York. One complete 30 minute radio program on these two 12 inch, black lacquer coated aluminum, 33 1/3 rpm discs. These discs were recorded for reference purposes only and not available to the general public, very rare!
This program stars Rudy Vallee & His Orchestra in a remote broadcast from the roof of The Astor Hotel in New York City from June 18, 1938.
The broadcast includes special guest, songwriter Al Lewis
Rudy Vallee & His Orchestra perform "This Time It's Real" vocal Rudy Vallee, "Toy Town Jamboree", "Says My Heart" vocal Caryl Gould, "O La" vocal Rudy Vallee & The Gentlemen Songsters, "All American Girl" vocal Rudy Vallee, "Ninety Nine Out Of One Hundred" vocal Rudy Vallee - these last two songs were written by guest Al Lewis
