Released in October 1969, this Lp was the follow up to the hugely succesfull Zeppelin I... & what an album...Being the groups very first album to reach No. 1 in both the UK and the USA.
The album production was entirely credited to Jimmy Page.
(as a little note: In November of 1999 the album was certified 12X platinum!!)

I have just given here a gentle vacuum clean and wow-the audio popped right out!
Being one of my favourite albums of all time-it really wasn't a chore to listen to her through at HIGH volume!!
The stereo split on Ramble On is lovely and clear and always makes me smile!...(Oh the times I have played this to a girl when we were splitting up)...!...And 'Thank You' too...perfect break-up/leaving your loved one tracks ;)
This quality, heavyweight slab of vinyl has been taken to a few parties (quite rightly so!!), providing just light marks to the vinyl which do produce some light background noise-only slightly more evident on the quieter Thank You track...But I certainly didn't find them offensive at all-it just reminded me I am listening to a ground breaking album in glorious all oiriginal analogue format....I was still able to pick out the highs and lows which are cut out of the CD format...So much more depth to the album on vinyl.
Once the tracks really get going this background noise does exactly what it should: fade into the background..
WOW-Superb drums kicking in at the start-magical! And Ooooh, the escalation of the bass line on Ramble On is a pure joy to listen too..
NO SKIPS OR STICKS ON MY FOCUS ONE DECK.
I noticed just a slight undulation when playing her through-but this had no effect on plaback and is barely visible when playing side 2...Nothing to worry about at all as it is very slight.
!!!!AS ZEPPELIN WANTED YOU TO HEAR THEM-with some original pops and crackle!!!!

LEMON SONG too.
Not just those two 1st pressing indicators, but she also carries the mistake for the last track on side 1: "THANKYOU"....without the space betweent the two words....The earliest example you can find.
"COPYRIGHT CONTROL" to BOTH SIDES, rather than the later Warner Bros.

There is a very faint name to the side 2 label-see if you can spot it in the detailed images provided.
Gorgeously deep in colour-a SUPERB example.

These covers are notorious for light ring wear but this one has survived incredibly well...With just a slight outline of the vinyl evident to the back gatefold.

Slight knocking to the corners and rubbing to the edges-but nothing bad at all.
