Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable.

About as hard to find as the 1979 (private) first Lp. The long ago second press is highly collectible NUMBERED
"From the Fjords" is the sole album from Legend originally released back in 1979. The band, from the USA, wasn’t around long however "From the Fjords" is jaw-droppingly goood.

Legend were a “power trio” with the considerable individual and combined talents of Kevin Nugent (guitar, lead vocals), Ray Frigon (drums) and Fred Melillo (bass). Nugent’s guitar is sublime, effortless, rangy and fluid. He throws out the varied riffs and remarkably mazy solos with ease.
Meilillo’s bass throbs away with complex, fast lines which at times sound like a second lead guitar.
An oozing mess of heavy metal, hard rock, and prog rock that reeks of musical showmanship and grandiosity. Legend are very clearly Zeppelin-inspired, both in their composition and their lyrical themes, but they bring a heavier, slightly psychedelic edge to their music that reminds me a lot of Sabbath. The musicianship is tight as all hell (seriously, Nugent is a great 70s shredder and he is easily the single least impressive member of the trio), the songs are ahead of their time and fun in the best ways, and there is nary a wasted note on this album (which, to be clear, has a LOT of notes). Great stuff, deserves way more attention than it gets.
