100% GENUINE "THE SOUNDHOUSE TAPES" - IRON MAIDEN. 1979 UK ISSUE 7" 3 TRACK EP: ROK 1 on the ROCK HARD Record Label. Produced by Iron Maiden
This is a 100% GENUINE 7" black vinyl pressing with top opening cover of "The Soundhouse Tapes" which of course is the first recordings made by the mighty IRON MAIDEN. The tracks are:
Side One: "Iron Maiden"
Side Two: "Invasion" + "Prowler"
This copy was acquired from a VERY CLOSE friend some years ago who bought it new via mailorder in 1979, so it has ONLY had two owners.
I have checked EVERY single detail with other dealers + double checked again via www.haggenkennedy.com/tst/ and I am TOTALLY guaranteed that this is the genuine deal.
The run-off MATRIX numbers are: (option 2)
Side one: *EG* SA LYN 7627-IT ROK-1-A
Side two: ROK-1-B LYN 7628-IT *EG* SA
The LYN 7627-IT on side 1. is VERY faint; the LYN 7628-IT is even fainter and can ONLY be seen with a magnifying glass (or is my eyesight fading!)
Sadly there is NO Merchandise Flyer/Insert with this copy, I believe that many copies do NOT have their original flyers/inserts.
I have tried to take as many photo's as I can but have been unable to get a decent clear image of the actual Matrix numbers, but they can just be seen on some of the lower photo's.

CONDITION:
I am being very picky and critical here:
RECORD - There are NO visable spindle marks, the label is VERY clean with NO other marks, there is a distinct 33mm wide round ridge at the center hole (see photo's) more so on side 2.
Under very bright light there are ONLY a very few VERY FAINT sleeve scuffs.
Both sides play EX+, there are NO pops or crackles that I can hear, just very slight surface noise on Side two between the two tracks.
COVER - There is a slight crease at the bottom of the front just under "The Soundhouse Tapes" writing. There is a 10mm split at the top front left seam.
I think it is better if I leave the photo's to descibe any other slight faults, in fact the photo's make the cover look slightly worse than it actually is.
The original INNER SLEEVE is creased on both sides, slightly worse on one side.
