Description
Hank Mobley Quartet / Blue Note BLP 5066 / 1955 /
Original deep groove Blue Note 10", 757 Lexington Ave NYC on both labels, flat edge, RVG, "Ear" & catalogue number on dead wax. Personnel: Hank Mobley (Tenor Sax) / Horace Silver (Piano) / Doug Watkins (Bass) / Art Blakey (Drums)
Jacket is VG++ , has no splits, crisp corners, there's a private discotheque ink stamp on dead space, small tape remain on top right corner, an almost erased date written on top left corner & light years yellowing all on verse, looks really fine overall.
Disc is nice excellent to near mint condition, only a couple of faint sleeve scuffs can be appreciated on the full glossy surface, plays fantastic, nice clean labels. It includes the Blue Note story insert that looks perfect except for a private discotheque ink stamp on front (see pics)
