Description
These official white Serato control records were part of a VERY short production run given exclusively to top DJs using Serato Scratch. They were never available for purchase. Some of the DJs seen using them include: Jazzy Jeff. Richie Hawtin. DJ Craze etc. Those in the know will be aware how impossible to get these are. In Serato circles they have almost entered folklore.
THESE ARE THE OFFICIAL SERATO CONTROL RECORDS, NOT THE WEAK BOOTLEGS YOU SEE ON EBAY SOMETIMES.
I was given these as a gift by a DJ who can be seen regularly performing with artists like the ones above. He knew I was a Serato fan and this is pretty much the ultimate gift. I don't want to mention his name for obvious reasons.
He had only used them a few times for performances, and they are in great condition. The only clue to them not being box fresh is that they have a small sticker on which was used to mark a scratch point (the DJ that gave them to me is a DMC champion so that's to be expected!). Apart from that they are in perfect condition. There are some tiny natural markings which are part of the white pressing. That is normal.
I feel sick to my stomach that I am putting these up for sale as they really are my pride and joy. There is no way I can ever own a pair again after these are gone. They really are one in a million. Unfortunately bills need to be paid.
I have put a reserve on the auction as I couldn't live with myself if they went for anything less than they are worth.
