THE SYN- GROUNDED/CREATED BY CLIVE- DERAM DM130- MOD FREAKBEAT PSYCH
A rare opportunity to obtain an extremely collectable 45 originally released in 1967. This is one of those records that everybody wants for the B side. "Grounded" is a superb track that appeals to collectors of both freakbeat and psychedelic pop and is in a similar style to singles by The Who and The Small Faces released at this time. The A side has a sort of "Dedicated Follower Of Fashion" vibe but it's hit potential was scuppered when a rival version by The Attack was released on Decca - Derams own parent lable! They should've made "Grounded" the top side. With it's swirling organ, nifty guitar work and brilliant harmonies it might have made the charts - then there would have been more copies to go around!
This is an excellent copy with no major defects although crackle can be heard at the run in and run out groove but once the music kicks in it plays fabulously. The lables are clean and unmarked and it comes with the Deram company sleeve in which it originally left the factory. You won't be dissapointed!
