Firstly...about 5 or 6 years ago, I was lucky enough to buy (separately) the entire VINYL collections of the only two editors of RAM magazine - Australia's premier 'rock' mag, from 1975 till some time in the late 80's [can't quite remember when it ended]. What this amounted to, in part, was a massive collection of mostly UNPLAYED, ORIGINAL Australian-pressed LPs. I've had them all stored away since then...sold a small few a couple of years back...but these below are from the bulk of those amazing collections.
OK...the item(s) on offer here are:
the TRIFFIDS
2 x vinyl LPs, plus 4 x 12" singles...all Australian pressings, unless stated
all are original FIRST pressings too
(covers graded first/vinyl second)
THE LP's:
1. "IN THE PINES" [1986, White/Hot, L-38718]...inner sleeve...comes with rare bio sheet...CONDITION: EX / MINT (no spindle marks on labels even...looks completely unplayed!)
2. "THE BLACK SWAN" [1989, White/Hot, L-30057]...inner sleeve...comes with TWO very rare bio sheets...CONDITION: M- / MINT (again, no spindle marks on labels...looks completely unplayed!)
THE 12" SINGLES:
1. "TRICK OF THE LIGHT" / "LOVE THE FEVER" / "BAD NEWS ALWAYS REMINDS ME OF YOU" / "EVERYTHING YOU TOUCH TURNS TO TIME" [1987, White/Hot, X-14588]...promo sticker on back cover...CONDITION: M- / MINT (no spindle marks on labels...looks completely unplayed!)
2. "GOODBYE LITTLE BOY" / "GO HOME EDDIE" / "SHELL OF A MAN" [1989, White/Hot, X-14688]...CONDITION: M- / MINT (no spindle marks on labels...looks completely unplayed!)
3. "FALLING OVER YOU" / "CAN'T HELP FALLING IN LOVE" / "YOU MINUS ME" [1989, White/Hot, X-14746]...CONDITION: EX / MINT (no spindle marks on labels...looks completely unplayed!)
4. "BURY ME DEEP IN LOVE" / "RENT" / "INTO THE GROOVE" (latter 2 tracks are covers of Pet Shop Boys, and Madonna hits, respectively) [UK release, 1989, Island, 12IS-424]...CONDITION: M- / VG+ (has some scuffs and marks but plays through beautifully)
