Insect Surfers are a Surf/psychedelic rock band originally from Washington D.C., active in 1979 to the present. The band now plays out of Los Angeles, California. The Insect Surfers are considered, "second-wave" surf.

This LP is an original 1991 First pressing of Skyclad Records SURF 101
Insect Surfers, Reverb Sun.

During their early DC days the Insect Surfers  opened for such classic punk bands, Bad Brains and The Slikee Boys. Once out in California they went on to be featured on bills with such artists as Chris Isaak, B-52's, Jonathan Richman, Pylon, The Ventures, Dick Dale, Link Wray, The Surfaris, and many more.


Not a cut-out or a recent reissue. This is the real deal!
