THAT'S RIGHT AN ORIGINAL MONO DEEP GROOVE PRESSING OF THIS FIRST ALBUM BY THE VELVET UNDERGROUNG WITH BOTH FRONT AND BACK STICKERS LEFT UNTOUCHED . Who am I to extol the virtues of this mind-bogglingly classic creation of 60's Rock and Roll, i'm sure if you are reading this and are considering bidding you need no terstimonials to its beauty. It's rare to find a copy where somebody didn't follow the directions to "peel slowly and see" to the front cover bananna. The back sticker was affixed to hide the disputed torso of a Warhol character whose superimposed image was the crux of a lawsuit, in later pressing his image was airbrushed aside but in this original printing they had to use a sticker to hide it. The vinyl is in VG++ shape the only flaw being some light marks visible on the first song of side two but plays and looks fantastic.The mono mix is definately superior to the Stereo on this album. The cover has both stickers but unfortunately has light brown water stains in the lower left and right corners , these are visible in the photo, looks the same on the back and to a lesser extent on the inside....GUARANTEED THE REAL DEAL.
