Description
Here for auction is a very rare Beatles interview box set "The Beatles Yesterday". This was only issued to participating radio stations to be aired on the weekend of August 30th 1985. It is a three record set / three hour program with a cover letter and the time or play sheets for the DJ. This was distributed by the United Stations Programming Network. I doubt you will find another anytime soon. There are commercials for dial soap, pert shampoo and chunky chocolate bars. The interviews with each Beatle are really great and there are some very early Beatles cuts on there like John doing "My Bonnie" during the Tony Sheridan sessions. There are other early years live cuts that I have not heard before. This is a must have for the die hard Beatles collector. The set is in mint condition as it was probably only played once. It came with instructions to either destroy it or return it after broadcast. Overseas bidders are welcome. Overseas airmail is $20 for this box set, no insurance offered at this rate. I do not ship overseas surface mail and I do not accept paypal. Overseas bidders must pay through Bidpay or with an international money order. I can no longer accept cash payments by mail. I have had several cash payments stolen in the postal sysytem in the past few months. I will combine winnings to save on shipping. US bidders pay exact priority mail + insurance if requested. If you are the winning bidder a contact email or invoice will be sent to you within 24 hours. If you do not receive the email within 24 hours then something is wrong on your receiving end and you should try to contact me. These days I think high spam filter settings are blocking too much email. I also notify you when your package has been shipped. I am diligent about my transactions. I request prompt communication and payment. Thank you for looking. I appreciate your business and I will reply to any questions. Please view my other auctions for more great recordings.
