Description

A CHANCE TO BID ON A HARD TO FIND LP!  TIME TO OWN THIS MAINSTREAM GEM!  THIS VINYL IS NOT PRISTINE(it is VG+), BUT ORIGINAL COPIES DON'T TURN UP TOO OFTEN!  SO......

Up for auction is the LP DRIVE IT! by the group LINCOLN STREET EXIT.  It is the original 1970 pressing Mainstream S 6126.  Group members are:MICHAEL MARTIN (LEAD VOCALS AND GUITAR)......MAC SUAZO (HEAVY BASS GUITAR)...LEE HERRES (DRUMS AND PERCUSSION...R.C. GARRIS (SECOND LEAD GUITAR).  When I listened I thought WOW!  I can understand why it is so desireable.  This copy will certainly do until you find a higher graded one.

SIDE 1 (THIS SIDE)....MAN MACHINE / DIRTY MOTHER BLUES / GOT YOU BABE / TEACHER TEACHER

SIDE 2 (THAT SIDE)  SOULFUL DRIFTER / TIME HAS COME GONNA DIE / GOING BACK HOME / STRAIGHT SHOOTIN"MAN / PHANTOM CHILD

vinyl is VG+.  It retains original shine, but there are some marks when held at an angle under strong light.  The ONLY one that I can tell affects play is a scratch on side one (track 1 and 2) that can be heard clicking a couple of times when the music is softer. This place looks reddish when viewed under a strong light.There is some noise between tracks. 

Cover is a sad story! Realistically VG-..Corner and edge wear, ring wear, 2" seam splits top and bottom at opening, age discoloration on back, opening peeling as seen in photo....WHEW!  Glad what's inside is good!
