Vinyl Grading?
Still Sealed / SS: Still factory sealed, shrink wrap intact
Mint: Perfect in every way with no signs of wear.
NM (Near Mint) - Very clean, only a few light marks and/or finger prints if any. Good gloss and plays great.
VG+ (Very Good+): Played and handled with care. May have slight ring wear or discoloration. Plays and looks nice with no or minimal surface noise. Labels may have writing, tape, or stickers.
VG (Very Good): Well-played record had many surface marks. May play with surface noise but sound quality is still good with no skips.
VG- (Very Good -): A bit rough with many scratches and groove wear (grooves may be turning white). May have significant surface noise but no skips.
Good: Has many, many scratches and has lost most of its coloration (grooves may be turning white and labels may be fading a bit with writing, tape, or stickers). Playing quality varies depending on your turntable and stylus. (in our world, 'Good' is NOT good...)
