For sale is a SmartPower home energy (electricity) monitor from nPower, in as-new condition, as seen in the photos.

If you are looking at this item, you may know that this is the device that conveniently shows you how much electricity you are using so you could go and switch off what you don't actually need and by this way to help you reduce the electricity bills. You don't have to be nPower customer to use this device.

Will post to UK address only. Cash on local pickup is welcome.

Definitions
I - the seller

Item description
I always try to make the description as accurate as possible. However an item, typically electrical equipment, may have hidden or rarely used function that I don't know about and that function may not be tested thoroughly or not tested at all due to the lack of skills, ability or other equipments, therefore not guaranteed to be in working order. If a specific function is of great importance for you, please ask question before biding.

Cosmetic condition
Unless stated otherwise, item in question is used. Broken part, if any, is fixed and the item is usable under everyday normal condition. Please expect usual sign of wear like discolouring, scratches, chips, marks, dents, cracks.

Hygienic condition
We don't smoke and don't have pets but the previous owner of an item may (if the item in question is not new). Item has always been cleaned before photographs are made. However I don't clean the inside or such area that are not reachable without the risk of damaging it.

Item dimensions
All item dimensions - if given - are measured with household ruler / scale / meter and rounded up or down reasonably. If precise dimension is very important to you, please ask me to measure again. I however may refuse doing so if re-measuring is not possible, for example, if the item has already been packed or dismantled. Even if I do, I still cannot be held responsible for the accuracy of the result.

Photos
Although I always try to make good photos to describe an item, a photo may not show every detail that you want to know. Again, if you have a specific question, please ask. It is not guaranteed that the colour of an item on the photo will match its colour in reality. It is so because neither the camera nor your monitor could be guaranteed to show the true colour of the item.

Posting cost
Posting cost quoted, if any, is for UK mainland only. For Northern Ireland or remote parts of the UK, the cost may be higher. If necessary, please ask for an exact quote giving your address before biding, otherwise I may refuse to sell the item if the posting cost exceeds more than what I can bear.

Collecting an item
Buyers are always welcome to collect purchased item personally. Please let me know the date and time before you come and please wait for confirmation. Please do not blame me if you come without notification and find nobody at home.

Payment
Although eBay forces private sellers to provide PayPal as one of payment method, if the item is going to be collected in person (due to its nature, size and/or weight, or because you would like to do so), only cash payment will be accepted, not via PayPal. The reason is if you pay via PayPal and collect the item in person, you have the evidence that item has been paid but I don't have any evidence that item has been collected or posted. It would not form a fair ground in case of disputation.

Sending item
In case you choose to receive the purchased item by post (Royal Mail or other courier) your address provided by PayPal and your phone number provided by eBay, if any, will be used unless you tell me otherwise before making payment. It is buyer's responsibility to keep these details correct and to be at the address to receive the package. Unlike Royal Mail other courier may leave the package at your doorstep unattended. I cannot hold responsibility for package being stolen from your door. Please ask your friend or neighbour to watch out for your package if necessary.

Damage in transit
There always is a risk that an item is damaged during transit. Please examine the packaging carefully when you receive it and record any problem in writing if you notice that the packaging is damaged. I cannot be held responsible for damage during transit. Item is usually sent without insurance but Royal Mail / other courier usually provides a small amount of lost or damage cover. If you need insurance or extra cover for your package, please ask before biding.

Return and refund
I generally do not accept return. In the special case if I agree to accept return, purchased item must be returned in proper packaging at buyer's expense. After the item is received, only the item's price will be refunded, the postal / delivery cost will not be. It is the buyer interest to obtain the evident of sending back the item in case of disputation.
