Description

muddy waters the real folk blues lps1501 "electronically altered for stereo" '66!! released same year as mono orig. has the "electronically altered for stereo" on front sticker. jackets from the mono release were used for these, glossy front cover stock states lp1501, label states lps1501, ex+ to nm lp with one very minor scuff very short to lip of one side before the music starts. not sound effecting but it's there visually making it just below nm. sounds great!  great shape copy!, ex+ shape cover has a minor bit of sticker remnant glue to upper corner that cant really be seen (probably cleanable with lighter fluid as this is a glossy laminate cover, very minor nick to edge in same area, see pics ...still an ex+ cover overall very clean and nice!) see all pics. MEGA SCARCE!  "S1/S2" matrix etches! GREAT COPY!

Vinyl grading is usually based on the Goldmine standard and is as follows:

“SS” Still Sealed – For the collector that demands nothing but perfection.

“M” Mint - a near perfect, or unplayed record.

“NM” Near Mint - in factory fresh condition, like new.

EX+ - close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play. Will satisfy all but the most vain and demanding collector.

EX - a used, reasonable copy. Shows slight signs of wear.

VG+ - There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility a few skuffs and/or light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.

VG - significant wear and marks and usually quite noticeable surface noise, still plays great.

Good - In the record world, "Good" is not good! From here on down, we're talking about beat-up records!
