here for auction is this spectacular replica "object" sculpture made famous from the cover artwork of the classic led zeppelin lp album cover for presence, designed exclusively by Storm Thorgerson for Hipgnosis of England-see photo gallery for 2 photo's representing the artwork for this lp(this lp record is not included in this auction).
this "object" sculpture is in fantastic condition.whom ever owned this "object" sculpture previously, obviously treasured it and kept it in exemplary condition.
this "object" sculpture is hard to fault and has to be seen to be believed.it is quite a spectacular looking piece and the gallery photo's do not do it the justice it deserves.
if you cannot afford an original one,(the last known original sold for almost $2000.00AU) and let's face it who can really,this is easily the next best thing.it's virtually impossible to tell them apart.(the only real noticable difference would be the Alva Museum sticker that is on the bottom of the original).
of the few "object" sculptures that i have seen,most tend to be well loved and worn.most have had chips,scratches,dings,dents and marks in them.
this "object" sculpture is hard to fault.it is a real gem.it would certainly be a jewel in any serious led zeppelin fan's collection.i seriously doubt if you will find an "object" sculpture in better condition.i personally cannot find fault with it.
this "object" sculpture is sold in "as in" condition.
it is numbered 421/1000 .
this "object" sculpture stands almost 12 inches tall.the base is approximately 4 & 1/2 inches X 4 & 1/2 inches.
