For sale is the best copy I have come across since I first took delivery of 500 copies of this record back in 1985. I remember sitting in the back room of my parents home sticking the covers together and then putting the singles back into the covers before repackaging them for sale to the people that came to watch the band play. Back in 85 Last Rough Cause was a labour of love for me which in the 30 years since this record was released I have revisited the band on a number of occasions releasing various albums and cd's and hopefully we will continue to do so. The latest release by the band, also available from me was Subculture, this was released in 2014. Several labels have wanted to reissue the violent few but an agreement has yet to be made to make this happen making the original issue very sort after indeed especially in the condition presented here. They do come up for sale on eBay occasionally and command a price equivalent of better known bands but rarely have I seen one as good as this even in my own collection. This particular copy I gave to a friend of mine back in 1995 and it came from a box that I had left at my parents home after I bought my first house so it is actually as close to being a brand new copy as anyone will ever find including me. The record came back into my possession following the recent death of my friend and I am selling it on behalf of his mother to contribute toward his funeral costs. The cover of the record is intact which is amazing considering that on most copies including my own the glue went dry and the cover came apart. The vinyl is completely un-played and the lyric sheet is still crisp and neatly folded showing no signs of ageing. It is without any doubt the best copy to be found on the planet unless there is another box somewhere with a copy in as good condition. I am reluctant to post this item but will if that is what is required due to the rarity and condition of the record. I would suggest collection especially at this time of year with the Christmas post but that is up to the winning bidder. Alternatively I can either post it after the holidays.
