Description
I'd forgotten how great this sounds in mono. Bought from new in 1967, barely played and lovingly cared for over the years. Just played it through for first time in something like 20 years. Stunning. But it's been sitting on my shelves for too long, and it's time to go along with some of the rest of my collection. I've got that too much stuff in my life syndrome.
I'm not a dealer but I've been collecting vinyl since the sixties and take good care of it.
This copy of Axis Bold As Love is not mint and I couldn't grade it as excellent. but it is in superb condition. The vinyl is shiny and clean. It has just played through close to perfectly with just the very occasional and very faintest of background noise (which is probably more to do with my deck than the vinyl itself). It has a very small and very faint mark on side 2 track one, which does not affect the sound at all. Otherwise just a few hairline marks which also are inaudible. The label is also shiny and clean with no spindle marks to speak of.
The Record label is Track with silver logo and print. The catalogue number is 612 003 MONO and the dead wax numbers are A triangle1 and B triangle 1 which indicate FIRST PRESSING. Year of issue 1967.
The fabulous psychedelic laminated gatefold sleeve is in good solid, clean and shiny condition with just faint wear to corners and some feathering to the opening edge. It has no ringwear. The orange poster lyric sheet is in pristine condition. The inner sleeve is the Track original.
I will send the record special delivery, and carefully and strongly packed. As i mentioned, I am not an expert and this is the first LP I have put up on ebay. But i am a keen collector and i think i have been as fair, honest and critical as possible with my description. If the buyer is for any reason unhappy, I will give a refund without any quibbles on return of the record. My feedback on hundreds of other items is 100% .
