pretty purdie - "soul drums" (date)
a true classic lp by the legendary drummer bernard "pretty" purdie. i guess this one needs no introduction. it's monsterously hard to find! just about every track's a groover in its own way. titles include "soul drums", "bill's groove", "jimmy's back", and "soul bossa nova". players include billy butler, buddy lucas, and seldon powell - richard tee handled the arrangements.
cover: still in the shrink. cover has some wear on the corners and a tiny punch hole (from a nail) in the upper left corner. else almost stainless. i grade conservative. VG+
record: i do not grade anything better than NM and this is a NM for sure. other sellers would call it a M-. the perfect keeper copy!!!
