quite an exciting moment for me.right now im holding one of the rarest prog rock lps ever made. PAINT A PICTURE BY FANTASY. polydor 2383-246. a2-b1 matrix english 1st press the real deal....1973. the vinyl looks immaculate almost unplayed. side a looks to have a tiny amount of spindle wear. side b looks like almost no wear. i have played lp thru and theres a bit of light surface noise at the start of side1. as soon as the drums come in the music is bright and crisp with very dynamic vocals (BIT LIKE DAVID BYRON) no distortion crisp and punchy all the way thru.side 2 has 4 pops at the start of side but then is same as side 1 no further problems.crisp and very well recorded. HERE COMES THE PROBLEM.... there is no cover. it got used as a poster we think and has vanished (OVER 30 YRS AGO). I REALISE THIS WILL ALMOST CERTAINLY PUT EVERYONE OFF. this lp needs to be bought by someone who already has a copy and wants to upgrade a worn or very crackly piece of vinyl. this is a seriously rare lp and is for someone who needs a better copy. any questions please mail me. cheers. i will post worldwide.
