ZOOT SIMS: "QUARTETS" LP - On PRESTIGE Records, PRLP 7026.  Original 1956 MONO 1st pressing with the classic Yellow & Black labels and the 446 W. 50th St., N.Y.C. address on both labels.  The label is DEEP GROOVE on both sides.  "Ear"and RVG etched in the trail-off on both sides.  Thick FLAT-EDGE vinyl, thick cardboard "FRAME" cover.  The personnel:  Zoot Sims/tenor sax; John Lewis or Harry Biss/piano; Curly Russell or Clyde Lombardi/bass; Art Blakey or Don Lamond/drums.  The vinyl is in close to NM condition with a high luster!!  The thick cover is in VG+ shape, displays nicely.  There is a small blemish on back at right side.  No seam splits, no cut-out marks, no writing, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking.  The songs are:  Zoot Swings the Blues - A; Zoot Swings the Blues - B; Trotting; I Wonder Who; It Had To Be You; My Silent Love; Jane-O; Dancing in the Dark; Memories of You; East of the Sun.
