Originally recorded in 1972 using the rhythm from the Senior Soul tune “ Is It Because I’m Black “ which was recorded at Studio One in 1970.
This is an early 1980’s repress from New York.
The song is recorded in Amharic, an early Rasta inspired Reggae tune.
The catalogue number of this pressing is SO 0087 A/B.
The vinyl is graded as VG+ with no visible marks.
It plays beautifully with no surface noise nor crackles, pops or scratches.
