Original early 1970s lp on Philips (PHS 600287) Zita.All music by Francois De Roubaix. Here is the scarce original soundtrack lp from the film ‘Zita’. Amazing tracks including several uptempo club funk tracks with super crisp beats,hammond organ and horns.Several more downtempo tracks with loads of nice precussion,flute,harpsichord and amazing string arrangements.Also a couple of tracks with lovely female French vocals.Superb from start to finish,amazing music from this genius French composer who was just so far ahead of his time.Killer funk tunes,amazing haunting slow tracks,incidental drama passages,lovely female vocals,loads of incredible sample potential.So many loops and stabs and some super crisp snappy beats too.Tracks include Generique,Love Has Gone,Miniland No1,Tante Zita,Miniland No2,Musique Contrebasse,La Chambre,etc. Pure quality lp from start to finish and not an easy lp to find.
