Of the four Australian Verve titles this has always been the hardest to find, second to ‘We’re Only In It For The Money’ mono.
Pressed in 1970. This non gatefold album has a laminated front which has the extra title ‘Mothers of Invention’ in font similar to the albums artist Cal Schenkel on the top. The back cover is a combination of the USA inner gatefold and back cover. This is all unique to this pressing.
The front of the sleeve still retains nearly all its laminated gloss with some minor disc wear not severe but still a little noticeable under light. A few minor creases and some slight edge wear. White matte back has a few minor stains and a little overall wear. No rips, seam splits or writing. A real nice looking sleeve.
Vinyl, under strong light the vinyl has a lots of small hairlines and a few tiny marks. Clean labels.
Plays with a small amount of surface noise. The fidelity is impressive compared to others. Don’t think this was played too often. An excellent example of a rare Aussie Verve
