Z Z TOP - "Rio Grande Mud"

     This is the album by Z Z Top titled "Rio Grande Mud". Released in 1972 by London Records, their second album. Catalog #XPS 612. Length: 40:51, 10 rock songs. The only single released from the album was "Francine", which peaked at number 69 on the Billboard Hot 100. The album peaked at number 104 on the Billboard 200 in June 1972. The record is in good condition because it has been played very little, including today to check its condition. Condition is good with no scratches, skips, or pops. This has been stored upright on my album rack in my home. I worked in the entertainment business here in Hollywood and got a lot of records for free. Sometimes duplicates. The jacket is in good condition. Comes in a light blue sleeve in good condition. I'm including a B&W publicity photo of the band in its early stages (no beards) printed on an 8½"x11" sheet of paper.      ZZ Top is an American rock band formed in Houston, Texas, in 1969. For 51 years, it consisted of vocalist-guitarist Billy Gibbons, drummer Frank Beard, and bassist-vocalist Dusty Hill, until Hill's death in 2021 from chronic bursitis. ZZ Top developed a signature sound based on Gibbons' blues style and Hill and Beard's rhythm section. They are known for their live performances, sly and humorous lyrics, and the matching appearances of Gibbons and Hill, who wore sunglasses, hats, and long beards.
