Yusef Lateef – Eastern Sounds ULTRA RARE 1966 UK MONO Press Transatlantic Records – PR7319 A/B Matrix.
Gradings (based on the Official Record Collectors guide)
Cover - VG. Front cover laminate/spine intact, creasing & wear to edges as per photos. Rear, fold over cover intact, some staining/yellowing (as per photos).
Vinyl - VG/VG+. Nothing more than a few harline surface/sleeve marks - no scratches, vinyl sits flat on plinth, matrix clearly readable, spindles & labels v.clean. Test played few extracts side 1 - no skips, pops or jumps - some sections played almost faultlessly, others with occasional, light background noise signifying dust in groove (which should be improved by professional clean). A very playable (and enjoyable to listen to) copy of this immense & rare album!
All vinyl has been carefully evaluated under LED light, up close visual (and where mentioned, audio) inspection. As you can see from my 100% +ve feedback I try to provide honest and 100% by the book gradings as per the official record collectors guide & will always err on the conservative when assigning a grading. I also post "RAW" HDR images of media which provide a very accurate visual guide in respect of media condition. In essence, what you see is what you will get with no unexpected surprises.
All LP's are posted in reinforced cardboard packaging with stiffened cardboard insert & a heavyweight polycarbonate protective outer sleeve. My postage costs may be slightly more expensive than some but I ONLY use recorded delivery for LP's as this is the safest way for both parties. For mainland Europe/International I offer a Royal Mail Standard service (on request) to keep costs minimal but for more valuable records I strongly advise ALL potential buyers to upgrade to insured postage to cover any damage in transit.
