Yes - Close To The Edge ( A1/B1 1972 UK original 1st pressing. FULLY textured cover. Green paper inner. Atlantic K50012 ). The one all Yes collectors seem to want now. Very first version of their finest work. FULLY textured gatefold cover is in very nice shape. Only VERY light edge and spine wear. This soft textured first issue cover usually suffers badly from creasing and rubbing but this one has survived the decades very well indeed. Nice crisp opening edges too with just a hint of foxing. Slight ringwear on the rear. No hesitation in grading EXCELLENT . Green paper inner is fully intact with just light creasing EXCELLENT. DARK green/DARK orange ( only on the first label runs ) labels have only slight traces of spindling . EXCELLENT. vinyl lies flat and true on the turntable platter. Some fine lines visible under spotlight from sleeve removal I'm sure , therefore they don't affect play. These A1/B1 originals have a far superior sound to all subsequent pressings , test it against a later pressing and hear for yourself. This is the only way to hear this masterpiece as it was originally intended!. Vinyl very conservatively graded : Visually VERY NEAR EXCELLENT. sonically EXCELLENT. gradings as per: Record Collector Grading System definitions. Dealer/collector since 1974.
