For sale here is a super rare piece for a Yes collector ultimately I am really more of a player of what I keep on my shelves than a keeper of rare titles. This should be in the hands of a serious collector. Somebody that can appreciate that they have what must be only handful of others anywhere have. I base the "handful" on the fact that I can only find 2 online that have sold since 2006. From what I've read and have confirmed with my own ears, this is a fold down from the stereo version. Hence, I likely won't play it as the stereo is how I prefer to hear it. But this one is about rarity. So here it is, for anyone with deeper pockets than I, that has a passion for collecting rare albums.

The outer is I believe the original that came with it as it appears a previous owner had removed the black and yellow "Promotional DJ Copy" sticker on the upper left front. I say this as there is sticker residue in the same place and of the same size as that sticker would be. See the image of it in the Popsike link above. If I were to keep it I'd likely hair dryer off an identical one of those stickers from a relatively unimportant promo lp in my collection and put it on this one. The outer has vg type wear. One note, the outer is the standard one used for the stereo release. From what I've read on this here, Atlantic wouldn't have went through the expense of having a separate outer made for the few thousand of these mono promos which they would have only sent to radio stations for AM broadcasting.

As far as the record itself, it is in really nice condition. Under the right angle you can see light sleeve were and a the random imperfection. VG+. The labels are a really nice glossy white and there are zero spindle trails. This album imo hasn't seen much action at all. Playback is great. Light s/n. No pops, ticks or even moderate crackle. Light stuff expected from this vintage that is easily buried with moderate music levels.
