Scarce undiscovered gem....pressed locally in very small numbers with only limited distribution.  Virtually unknown even in their native French Canada, this Richard Toupin & Yves Cloutier collaboration resulted in only one obscure masterpiece.

A Xian folk-rock stunner….. blend of smooth vocal harmonies, haunting acoustic guitars, flutes, & synths, with great interplay, swirling progressive arrangements and spacey psych-tinged vibes.

Reminiscent of Harmonium's debut, but with a very similar vibe as the two progressive-folk gems recorded by the obscure bands Ajour and Shawi around the same time (French lyrics, but with lots of long instrumental passages).

Très rare microsillon de la francophonie acoustique (progressive) chrétienne. 

C’est après avoir travaillé comme comédien et musicien à La Roulotte du Service des Parcs de Montréal ainsi qu’au Théâtre du Nouveau Monde que Richard Toupin est engagé comme bassiste et choriste derrière Robert Charlebois pour la grande tournée du Québec, la production d’un disque et des prestations en Europe.  Après quelques expériences avec d’autres artistes québécois, il entreprend une carrière en duo avec Yves Cloutier.    Résultat ! ....ce merveilleux bijou…..un folk acoustique progressif de toute beauté,  et délicieux à l’écoute.
